Overview

Sanctuary is the urban spa quietly nestled within Grand Hyatt Melbourne. Whilst the spa undergoes an exciting refurbishment, guests may still experience the professional and caring Sanctuary touch in a host of energising and relaxing aesthetic treatments, including a diverse range of massage therapies.

Sanctuary offers guests a wide range of indulgent and therapeutic facials and body treatments in the comfort of specially modified treatment rooms in the hotel. Facials and body treatments use luxurious June Jacobs products, offered exclusively by Sanctuary. Customised massage treatments use Aboriginal inspired products, Li’Tya.

All of Sanctuary's spa treatments can be customised to suit an individual's needs to address a range of areas of concern including jet lag remedies, detoxification, hydration, rejuvenation and relaxation.

Check-in
We recommend you arrive early to relax and enjoy our wet area facilities and complete the pre-treatment consultation process.   If you are delayed, please understand that consideration must be given to the next guest and treatment times will be reduced accordingly.

Policies
In consideration of other guests, we ask that cell phones and pagers are turned off. Alcohol and smoking are not permitted. We encourage the use of your in-room safe deposit box.

Therapists
You may request a male or female therapist, however, we cannot guarantee the availability of any particular therapist. All of our licensed therapists are properly trained to ensure your comfort at all times.

Special Needs
Please advise upon booking of any allergies, ailments or disabilities, especially if you have high blood pressure or you are pregnant.

Clothing
We provide you with a robe and slippers and you are draped during your massage. Undergarments may be worn if preferred.

Communication
Please communicate with your technician to ensure satisfaction and to customize your services to fit your needs.

Reservations
Advance reservations are strongly recommended – please contact the hotel concierge to request a treatment. Prices are subject to change without prior notification.

Cancellation Policy
Three (3) hours notice is required to cancel an appointment.  Packages and Personal Training/Fitness require twenty-four (24) hours notice.   If cancellations occur within these times, guests will be charged the full treatment value.  Rescheduling within these times will incur a charge equivalent to 25% of the treatment value.  Non-arrivals will also incur the full treatment charge.  Credit card and contact details are required to secure all reservations at the time of booking.
